The Moses Gamble House

LifeLine Counseling Center is a safe, confidential place where barriers that interfere with joy, relationships and life can be addressed. It is located in the Moses Gamble House, a beautiful historic home built around 1892 by Nathan Boyd, a skilled cabinet maker. One of the original owners was Moses H. Gamble (1971-1934) who served in the state House of Representatives, the state Senate and as Chancellor of the Thirteenth Chancery Court of Blount County.

With its inviting porches, manteled fireplaces and hardwood floors, this house maintains the character and charm of that historic period. The homey, relaxed atmostphere brings its guests back to a simpler time when life moved at a slower pace. The beautiful grounds are appointed with brick walks, established trees and attractive landscaping.
