LifeLine Counseling Center offers many classes and services to children, parents and adults.  Please check our Calendar of Events for upcoming offerings.

Kids Art and Soul features fun and unique art projects, drama, and musical activities geared toward self-discovery and social skills development. These popular classes help children develop self-confidence and positive self-esteem. The curriculum promotes flexible, creative thinking skills useful in problem solving and decision-making.

The Friendship Club gives children the opportunity to gain social skills and develop social confidence with peers and adults. This series of classes helps children learn effective communication and conflict resolution skills, and appropriate ways to express feelings and manage anger. Strategies are discussed for making wise, responsible choices. Social games, art, role-play and story-telling make the classes interesting and fun. Adult Enrichment Classes

 

Getting Kids Ready for the Real World focuses on fostering self-confidence, wise decision making and responsible behavior in children of all ages so they will be ready to deal with life's challenges. Practical techniques are addressed for effective encouragement, helping children through tough times, and creative ways to deal with problematic behavior. There is plenty of opportunity for questions and feedback. 

 

 Keys to Forgiveness offers support and direction for those wanting to move beyond the pain of wounds and hurts from the past. Topics include: knowing who and how to forgive, forgiving the unforgiveable, understanding the for forgiveness process and self-forgiveness. Participants will be guided through an effective forgiveness plan outline that gives specific strategies for recovery. 

 

 The Daddy Difference: The Incredible Impact of a Dad on His Daughter's Life helps fathers develop a loving, rock-solid relationship with their daughters, minimizing the risk of unhealthy, exploitative, and abusive relationship choices. The seminar examines the special role of fathers in the development of their daughters' self-concept and well-being and fathering and loving daughters through childhood, adolescence and beyond.
